The Real Housewives of Atlanta seems to be doing anything it can to stay afloat following Kenya Moore‘s exit. According to new reports, former star Phaedra Parks is in talks with Bravo to rejoin the reality series seven years after she was initially fired.
Parks, who starred on RHOA from Season 3 in 2010 to Season 9 in 2017, is reportedly negotiating her comeback to the show, according to Love B. Scott, who first reported the news. Not only is the show seemingly scrambling amid Moore’s exit, but the reality star’s “chemistry” with returning star Porsha Williams at the Watch What Happens Live 15th anniversary special has “add[ed] to the desire” for her return.
However, sources tell the outlet that the “biggest hangup” regarding Parks’ highly anticipated comeback to RHOA is her ongoing Married to Medicine contract. The attorney, who first made the jump to the series in 2023, is currently filming Season 11 of Married to Medicine, per Page Six.
DECIDER has reached out to reps for RHOA for comment, but did not hear back by the time of publication.
The cast shakeup comes weeks after Moore parted ways with Bravo mid-way through filming Season 16. The longtime star was initially suspended from filming after she allegedly displayed posters of newbie Brittany Eady performing oral sex at last month’s grand opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa.
Moore, for her part, has maintained her innocence, telling her X followers that she “never distributed private images or footage of anyone, nor solicited images owned by others to use to threaten or blackmail.” TMZ reported at the time that she may be pursuing legal options.

With Moore out of Season 16, Cynthia Bailey is reportedly filming “more and more.” Bailey, who was a full-time cast member from 2010 to 2021, was originally only set to return as a “friend of.”
Like Moore, Parks was fired for a sex-related scandal after she admitted at the Season 9 reunion that she spread rumors claiming Kandi Burruss wanted to drug and rape Williams. As for whether she had any advice for Moore, Parks told Page Six, “You probably wouldn’t wanna hear my advice.”
