Pete Davidson felt one Knicks fan got a little too close for comfort and let him know about it.
The former “Saturday Night Live” star, actor, and Taco Bell spokesperson was among the many celebrities at Madison Square Garden to watch the Knicks take a 3-1 series lead over the Cavaliers, winning 102-93 on Sunday afternoon.
While leaving the game, Davidson stayed a while and took photos with fans.
As that was going on, a man in a pink polo shirt and a Knicks hat crept behind Davidson for some of these photos and hovered around him as the celebrity interacted with other fans.
One video, posted by Twitter user “@ImClique_”, shows the man in the pink shirt putting his arm around Davidson and treating him like you would a close friend
Davidson, 29, didn’t take kindly to it, shoving the overly eager fan away, evidently insisting he back off.
The two men exchanged some words, and the fan went on his way.
Davidson continued to take photos with fans, even flashing a peace sign in one.
During the game, Davidson was seated with fellow comedian and now-activist Jon Stewart, taking in the Knicks being on the brink of their first playoff series victory in 10 years.
Davidson, who grew up on Staten Island, rose to fame as a cast member on SNL from 2014-22.
He recently had a nine-month relationship with Kim Kardashian that ended last August.
He is currently dating “Bodies Bodies Bodies” co-star Chase Sui Wonders.
