Pete Alonso and the Mets brought a power fireworks show for the Mets in a historic and slump-busting night on Tuesday at Citi Field.

Alonso’s franchise record-breaking 253rd homer, as well as his 254th blast, were part of the Amazin’s six-homer attack that gave them a 13-5 win over the Braves.

But unfortunately for Mets fans, the organization was forced to announce that it ran out of fireworks to shoot at Citi Field.

Amazin’s fans found out this unfortunate news when the scoreboard displayed a message under the title “No more pyro.”

“Due to too many Mets home runs, we have unfortunately run out of fireworks for the night. We apologize for the inconvenience,” the full message read.

Fireworks shortage aside, the power show and the blowout win were welcome sights for the Mets, who had entered the night losers of 11 of their past 12 games.
