NextImg:Peacock is Increasing Prices This Week — Here’s How to Get it Before it Goes Up

For the third time in its five-year history, Peacock is once again raising its subscription price.

Beginning on Wednesday, July 23, the prices for all four of Peacock’s subscription options will increase $3 for monthly plans and $30 for annual plans, meaning existing plans will now start at $10.99/month.

The new increases go into effect just over one year after the plans saw an increase of $2/month on monthly subscriptions and $20 on annual subscriptions, making it Peacock’s largest price hike yet (the 2023 price increase was just $1/month on monthly plans).

The price hikes come as Peacock is set to broadcast approximately 50 NBA games per season beginning in October, including Monday night matchups and exclusive playoff games. NFL on NBC will also return with Sunday Night Football and a Peacock-exclusive Week 17 doubleheader with teams to be announced later.

See below for a breakdown of Peacock’s plans, with old pricing and new pricing information.

Subscription PlanOld PriceNew Price
Premium Monthly (with ads)$7.99/month$10.99/month
Premium Plus Monthly (ad-free)$13.99/month$16.99/month
Premium Annual (with ads)$79.99/year$109.99/month
Premium Plus Annual (ad-free)$139.99/year$169.99/month

You can still lock in current prices, either for one month or one year if you subscribe before July 23.

The annual plan is always going to provide the best value, giving you 12 months for the price of 10, and even with the impending price increase, you’ll lock into the current annual price for one year by subscribing now.

Plus, one year will cover the entire NFL and NBA seasons, including the Super Bowl, which will air on NBC this year, the 2026 Winter Olympics, the 2025-26 Premier League season, and more. That’s all in addition to new NBC titles, Bravo series, and so much more.

If you choose to go monthly, you’ll only have one month of streaming with the old pricing before your account is hit with the increase.

Not really a sports fan? Peacock is reportedly going to test a new “Select” tier, which will cost $7.99/month or $79.99/year. It won’t have any live channels or sports, but will include the current seasons of select NBC and Bravo shows and a broader library of shows.
