The heroes and zeros from the Giants’ 22-9 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday night.

Patrick Mahomes wasn’t at his best, but he made enough throws and eluded enough tackles to outlast the Giants in Kansas City’s first win of the season. He helped ice the game with a 33-yard pass to Tyquan Thornton to the 1-yard-line.

Russell Wilson, terrible in the first game of the season versus Washington and tremendous last week against Dallas, put up another ugly performance Sunday night. The deep passing game was gone and he threw a brutal interception in the end zone, as well as an intentional grounding in the end zone late in the fourth quarter.

Linebacker Nick Bolton led a Chiefs defense that overwhelmed the Giants much of the night.

0-3: The Giants have lost their first three games for the first time since 2021, when they finished 4-13 and fired Joe Judge.

“We want Dart,” MetLife Stadium crowd chanting for rookie Jaxson Dart to enter the game following Wilson’s interception in the end zone late in the second quarter.
