Patrick Mahomes Sr. was driving with an open 16-ounce Coors beer in the center console when he was stopped by police and arrested for driving while intoxicated, according to an affidavit obtained by The Post.

Mahomes, whose son will quarterback the Chiefs against the 49ers in Super Bowl 2024 on Sunday, told police that he “had a few beers while watching a game at a local bar” in Smith County in Texas.

It was the third DWI for Mahomes, a former MLB pitcher who spent time with the Mets.
