NextImg:“Paris: the Memoir,” out today, is $10 off on Amazon

What is there left to say about Paris Hilton that hasn’t already been said?

Plenty, it would seem, or her new memoir, aptly titled “Paris: The Memoir” would be pretty short. And we have it on good authority that it’s actually over 336 pages long.

March 14th saw the release of the latest hotly-anticipated celebrity memoir, this time from hotel heiress turned model reality-star turned actress turned-singer turned businesswoman, and now: turned-writer.

Long before you could keep up with any of the Kardashians, Hilton helped to usher in our modern age of celebrity by getting famous for being famous. And living to tell the tale.

The latest of her three biographies, including 2004’s “Confessions of an Heiress: A Tongue-In-Cheek Peek Behind the Pose,” and 2005’s “Your Heiress Diary: Confess It All to Me,” the new “Paris: The Memoir,” finds a older, wiser Hilton able to reflect on her whirlwind teens and twenties, which saw her meteoric rise to fame, and the devastating pratfalls and catcalls that we now associate with the media’s treatment of female celebrities in the early aughts. It’s available now on Amazon for just $20.

Paris says it best herself in the intro: “I came of age during the most turbulent pop culture period ever.”

At one point for Paris, the stars might have been blind, but it now seems that the stars (i.e, Ms. Hilton) see more clearly and soberly than ever, and are using that newfound perception to look back, re-contextualize the life of a starlet socialite, and eventually, to look forward.

This week, pick up your brand new copy of “Paris: The Memoir” on Amazon for just $20. That’s $10 cheaper than you’ll find it anywhere else, and you can get it delivered to your door tomorrow.
