NextImg:Pamela Anderson didn’t mean to go viral with no-makeup look: ‘Didn’t know anyone would notice’

Pamela Anderson’s keeping it real.

The former “Baywatch” babe, 56, caused a stir when she showed up at Paris Fashion Week last month wearing no makeup, sitting front row at a series of shows with her bare face on full display.

Her natural look won praise from fellow celebrities like Jamie Lee Curtis and Scarlett Johansson, who called it “an act of courage and rebellion” and a “powerful message,” respectively.

Anderson, however, didn’t expect such strong reactions.

“I’m makeup free at home, so why not for Paris Fashion Week? I really didn’t know anyone would notice it, but I’m glad it became a positive message,” she told People in a new interview.

And the star — who recently revealed she stopped wearing cosmetics after her beloved makeup artist passed away in 2019 — has a positive outlook about getting older in Hollywood as well, saying, “I call it Life-ing, not aging.”

Continued Anderson, “Chasing youth is futile. All we can do is embrace who we are at the moment we are in, and be okay with where our feet stand right now.”

While she’s not opposed to wearing makeup ever again, don’t expect the blond bombshell to sport a smokey eye any time soon.

Beyond fashion week, the blond beauty has shown off her radiant complexion in ads for Pandora, selfies on Instagram and on the covers of magazines — and we don’t expect her to switch it up any time soon.

But while Anderson has said it’s “a relief” to skip the glam and that she feels increasingly more comfortable in her skin while living a quiet, simple life, she isn’t swearing off the stuff forever.

“I’m not opposed to it, I just don’t want to play the game,” she told People. “And it felt good to look in the mirror and say, ‘I’m OK just like this.'”
