Apple TV+ is taking viewers back to Palm Beach 1969 with its dazzling new comedy, Palm Royale.
Abe Sylvia’s star-studded series, loosely based on Juliet McDaniel’s novel Mr. and Mrs. American Pie, follows Palm Beach newbie Maxine Simmons (Kristen Wiig) on a quest to fit in with local socialites — no matter the cost.
Per Apple TV+’s synopsis, “As Maxine attempts to cross that impermeable line between the haves and the have-nots, Palm Royale asks the same question that still baffles us today: ‘How much of yourself are you willing to sacrifice to get what someone else has?'”
Wigg stars and serves as executive producer along with the legendary Laura Dern. A captivating cast of massive names helps bring the big-budget spectacle with lavish sets and dazzling wardrobes to life.

Palm Royale on Apple TV+ consists of ten episodes. The first three episodes premiere on Wednesday, March 20. After that, the series will follow a weekly release schedule until its finale in May.
