Yu know what?
We are going back to the Twin Cities.
The Padres won for us there on Tuesday and Yu Darvish takes his turn in Minnesota on Thursday.
Darvish comes off a gem, allowing one run over 6 ²/₃ in a win against the hated Dodgers.
The Twins’ Bailey Ober will be making his fourth start and if it is anything like the first three, our winning streak is in jeopardy.
The stingy Ober has given up just two runs over 18 ¹/₃ total innings.
Yu know that can’t continue.
Have faith in Yu and play $50 on the Padres.
Phantastic!
Both Kevin Gausman (zero runs, six innings) and Zack Wheeler (one run, seven innings) were brilliant.
The Phillies put eight donuts on the scoreboard but down 1-0 in the ninth inning, JT Realmuto’s double tied the game.
Then Bo Bichette’s throwing error (thank you) allowed Edmundo Sosa to score and the Phillies extended our winning streak to five games.
Final 2-1. Down -542 larrybowas.
