Whether you’re talking about Shakespeare or the Green Bay Packers’ offense, “Love” and “Romeo” go hand-in-hand.

If there is one thing that has caught our attention about Green Bay’s season thus far, it’s the budding rapport between Jordan Love and Romeo Doubs.

We figured that Doubs’ target volume would dip after the return of Christian Watson, but Doubs saw a season-high 13 in Watson’s debut against the Lions.

Sure, the one game isn’t a large enough sample size, but why fix what isn’t broken?

Doubs is leading the Packers with a 26.4 percent target share while pacing to the beat of five catches per game.

Las Vegas allows 21.6 passing completions, which is middle of the pack, but Doubs’ consistency in the Packers’ passing game is proving full-proof.

Love has displayed a reliance on Doubs in all situations as the sophomore receiver has netted four catches on six red-zone targets, which places him in the top 10 percentile.

Doubs also has eight catches on third down and has turned half of those into first downs along with two touchdowns.

He has three scores on the year and the Raiders have been generous in the end zone allowing two passing touchdowns a game.

Of course, the game script is a factor, as Doubs’ usage saw its biggest boost when the Packers fell down 27-3 last week.

But Doubs’ efficiency when the Packers are leading and tied still checks out with seven catches for 55 yards.

This game presents somewhat of a quandary anyway as I think it’s more of a pick’ em.

It may be heavy on the juice, but play it safe and count on Doubs to reel it in.
