The City of Brotherly Love has got a rich history, and Philly native and Bucks County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Chris McMullin is uncovering its dark and disturbing side in Oxygen‘s upcoming true crime docuseries Philly Homicide.

McMullin, who spent several years as a patrol officer for the Philadelphia P.D. prior to becoming a detective with Bensalem P.D., is now translating his experiences on the squad to host the new series, in which he will take viewers “inside Philly’s most shocking murder investigations.”

Others featured in the show’s trailer brought to you exclusively by DECIDER include retired Bucks County First Assistant DA David W. Zellis, who describes one case as being “premeditated in the coldest way possible,” and WCAU reporter Deana Durante, who highlights one killing as being “personal.”

“There was a woman found lying on the sidewalk in Center City,” retired Philadelphia P.D. Detective Chuck Boyle recalls. “I was a father with two daughters. I wanted him caught more than anybody did.”

The startling cases featured in each hour-long installment of the 10-episode series come to you straight from the city’s toughest homicide detectives. Per the network’s press release, “McMullin gives unique insights on crimes that took place in a region steeped in rich history, vibrant culture, and known for tenacity and grit.”

Sandy Varo Jarrell, Suzanne Rauscher, Molly Mayock, Craig Delaval, Hillary Heath and Annette Valencia all serve as Philly Homicide‘s executive producers.

Philly Homicide premieres Saturday, Oct. 26 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Oxygen after a new episode of Killer Relationship with Faith Jenkins. Watch the trailer above.
