Serhant strikes back! That’s right, real life real estate mogul and star of Netflix‘s hit reality show Owning Manhattan Ryan Serhant makes his triumphant return to And Just Like That… this week. Fans of the MAX show will recall that Serhant played himself in a cheeky Season 2 subplot wherein Seema (Sarita Choudhury) struggled to find the perfect luxury listing for future ex Ravi Gordi (Armin Amiri). Now, Serhant is back in And Just Like That… Season 3 Episode 3 “Carrie Golightly” to blow up Seema’s carefully laid plans for the future…

**Spoilers for And Just Like That… Season 3 Episode 3 “Carrie Golightly,” now streaming on MAX**

And Just Like That… first introduced Seema Patel all the way back in Season 1. She was a glamorous real estate broker tasked with finding Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) a new pad after Big’s death. Carrie ultimately wound up returning to her original Sex and the City bachelorette pad, but Seema stuck around as her latest gal pal.

Seema was immediately defined by her pride in her work. She had built a career connecting her super wealthy clients with the NYC homes of their dreams. Seema had also forged her path with the help of long-term partner Elliot Poust (John Glover) and assumed that once the elderly Poust retired, she would buy him out, becoming the sole head of Poust & Patel.

Well, Ryan Serhant arrived in And Just Like That… Season 3 to blow that plan up!

In And Just Like That… Season 3 Episode 3 “Carrie Golightly,” Seema is taken aback to discover that Elliot is retiring earlier than she thought he would. In his defense, he reveals he is a spry “gay 90,” which is “straight 70.” However, what’s not cool is that Elliot is selling his shares of the company to Ryan Serhant, making the Netflix star and real estate titan the primary controlling partner.

As Seema explains later to Carrie later, she always envisioned herself running her own real estate company. If she accepts the current situation with Serhant in charge, she’ll always be second fiddle. Moreover, Serhant’s rather infamous for his inability to share space. His real life company is simply called SERHANT. Later in the episode, Seema gets confirmation from the realtor that her last name will no longer be apart of the firm’s name. At first, she tells Carrie, she’ll take the deal. There are worse things in life than being the second best realtor in NYC after Ryan Serhant. However, then she decides accidentally driving over spikes is a sign from the universe to not “back up.” Seema is going to strike out on her own.

So who is Ryan Serhant? Where have you seen him before (outside of And Just Like That…) and is he really the best realtor in New York City?

Here’s what you need to know about Ryan Serhant’s return to And Just Like That…

Ryan Serhant reprises the role of “Ryan Serhant” in And Just Like That… Season 3 Episode 3. Serhant is a 40-year-old real estate broker and reality television star who shot to fame starring in all nine seasons of Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing New York. Serhant briefly starred in a spin-off called Sell It Like Serhant, where he advised struggling realtors on how to improve their game.

Last year, Serhant launched a brand new reality TV endeavor: Owning Manhattan on Netflix. Owning Manhattan will eventually be back for a second season. (Fingers crossed Sarita Choudhury shows up for a cameo.)

You can check out Serhant’s massive real estate portfolio at the official Serhant website or follow him on Instagram @ryanserhant.
