The Hamptons have long offered serene seclusion and opulent living away from the bustle of New York City.

It’s a place where dreams can also come true, and perhaps no one understands this better than Anthony Bonomo, co-owner of the legendary horse, Always Dreaming, which secured victory in the 143rd Kentucky Derby back in 2017.

Today, Bonomo has decided to part ways with his lavish Hamptons retreat, putting his charming estate on the market for an impressive $7.75 million.

Nestled at 23 Heady Creek Lane in Southampton, this residence sprawls across an impressive 6,000 square feet.

Tucked behind a private cobblestone driveway, the home is made up of six bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

An open floor plan features a great room seamlessly leading to a chef’s kitchen. This culinary haven boasts a substantial marble center island and state-of-the-art appliances.

The home spans 6,000 square feet.

Beyond the elegance and sophistication of this Southampton Village masterpiece, residents will enjoy the privilege of private access to the renowned Coopers Beach.

Always Dreaming’s triumph in the 2017 Kentucky Derby was a historic one, as he became the first horse in 84 years to secure victory in the race without a single win as a 2-year-old. It was only in late January of his third year that he clinched his first win, defying all expectations.

Mary Ellen Bonomo, who co-owned Always Dreaming with her husband Anthony, shared her sentiment with the Los Angeles Times after the historic win: “I just always daydreamed,” she said. “And I said, ‘Why don’t we just name it Dreaming?’ Everybody dreams of something, whether it’s a big event or special day, the birth of their child, winning the Kentucky Derby … When this horse has its first baby, we will name it Keep On Dreaming.”
