Former Emmys host Conan O’Brien is moving to the big screen as the prolific funnyman hosts the 2025 Academy Awards!

What exactly does the legendary late-night host have in store for us when he takes the stage for the Oscars? “I’m just going to read a lot of very dreary Russian novels,” Conan joked during a recent interview with the New York Times. “‘Crime and Punishment’; ‘Brothers Karamazov’; ‘Notes From Underground.’ I’m going to finish reading them live onstage — aloud. This is an Oscars you don’t want to miss!”

The 2025 Academy Awards air tonight (March 2) from 7:00-10:32 p.m. ET on ABC and Hulu. Preshow coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The Oscars will be followed by the season premiere of American Idol.

E! Countdown to the Red Carpet airs from 2:00-4:00 p.m. ET, followed by E! Live From the Red Carpet from 4:00-6:00 p.m. ET. Red Carpet Rundown: Oscars 2025 will air from 6:30-7:00 p.m. ET on E!.

ABC and Hulu’s live red carpet coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. ET.
