One fan said it all.

As Anthony Volpe was up to bat in the bottom of the seventh inning with the Yankees trailing the Blue Jays 4-1 in ALDS Game 4, one Yankee supporter hit a breaking point on Wednesday night.

A man standing in the lower bowl at Yankee Stadium was shown on the FS1 broadcast, standing up and miming several bat swings as he pleaded with the young shortstop to get the offense going late in the elimination game after he took two called strikes against Toronto lefty Brendon Little.

The fan appeared to mouth, “Swing the f–king bat!”

Volpe did swing at the final pitch in the at-bat, waving and missing at a knuckle curve. It was Volpe’s third strikeout of the game. He’s now hitting .192 in the playoffs with a 5-for-26 line.

Volpe’s been particularly bad in the ALDS, going 1-for-15 against Toronto, with the one knock coming in Game 1.
