Kato Kaelin – OJ Simpson’s one-time guest house visitor who served as a witness in his infamous 1995 murder trial – offered his condolences following news of the former NFL star’s death — and also took a moment to remember his slain ex-wife as a “beacon of light.”
“I’d like to express my condolences to the children…they lost their father, and that is never easy,” Kaelin said in a video shared on X Thursday afternoon, shortly after news broke that Simpson had died from cancer at age 76.
“I wish to express my love and compassion to the Goldmans. To Fred and to Kim. I hope you find closure,” Kaelin continued, referring to the family of victim Ron Goldman.
“And finally, to the family of the beautiful Nicole Brown Simpson: May we always cherish her memories. Nicole was a beacon of light that burned bright. May we never forget her,” he concluded the brief but emotional statement.
