Odell Beckham Jr. is on the Colorado wave, too.
About 12 hours following Colorado’s come-from-behind, double overtime win against in-state rival Colorado State, Beckham Jr. wore a Travis Hunter t-shirt during warmups before the Ravens’ Week 2 game against the Bengals.
Beckham also wore Randy Moss cleats.
Hunter, a two-way start, became a breakout star for the Buffaloes following his opening week performance when he recorded 11 catches for 119 yards on offense, and added an interception against 2022 championship runner-up TCU.
Hunter famously played 129 snaps in the game in the 45-42 stunning upset.
The 6-foot-1 receiver and defensive back was part of the “luggage” head coach Deion Sanders brought from Jackson State to Colorado upon taking the job prior to this season.
He recorded two catches for 21 yards during the team’s dramatic 43-35 overtime win Saturday evening, but was leveled by a big hit that Sanders says will sideline him “a few weeks.”
Beckham, who signed a one-year deal, $15 million deal this past off-season with the Ravens, recorded two catches for 37 yards in his debut with the team during Week 1 against the Houston Texans.
The Ravens won the game, 25-9.
