


An NYPD cop responding to a domestic dispute in Brooklyn on Tuesday afternoon was shot and wounded – along with a suspect, police and sources said.
The officer was dispatched to an apartment building at Saratoga Avenue and Bergen Street in Brownsville where the suspect was arguing with his mother shortly after 3 p.m., according to the sources.
The unnamed officer was shot in the hand about a half-hour later, with the suspect shot in the leg, police and sources said.
Law enforcement sources said a second cop may have also be wounded in the melee.
The suspect, whose name has not been released, was loaded onto an ambulance and taken to Brookdale Hospital. His condition was not immediately available.
The wounded cops were taken to Kings County Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police and sources.
An NYPD spokesperson said no further information was available.
