An NYPD cop was arrested Tuesday on Long Island for allegedly possessing child porn, authorities said.

Police officer Steven Marksberry, of Lake Grove, was taken into custody at his home Tuesday shortly before 1 p.m., Suffolk County police confirmed Wednesday.

He’s facing one count of possession of a sexual act by a child, authorities said.

The 50-year-old was released on his own recognizance. He’s scheduled to appear at the First District Court in Central Islip on July 10, authorities said.

An NYPD spokesperson said in an email that Marksberry has been suspended without pay.

Details around the criminal charge were not disclosed Wednesday by Suffolk police.

He earned almost $140,000 in salary last year, according to the website SeeThroughNY.

Marksberry is an officer with the 52nd precinct, according to a database from the NYCLU that lists misconduct complaints against officers on its website.

The precinct encompasses a northern part of the Bronx.
