An NYPD supervisor accused of assaulting an employee after their illicit relationship ended and of threatening to kill her if she told anyone has been indicted on sex crime charges, The Post has learned.
Lt. Widler Lucas, 42, was charged with two counts of criminal sexual act, sexual misconduct and aggravated harassment in Brooklyn Supreme Court on Tuesday, according to the filing.
Brooklyn prosecutors convened a grand jury in the case after Lucas’ alleged victim and former lover, Ammy Ventura, came forward in a lawsuit first reported by The Post in April, her attorney said.
Ventura, a civilian employee in the NYPD’s Property Division, claimed her cop-supervisor forced her to give him oral sex behind his desk while on duty in August 2022, according to her suit.
At the end of that year, Lucas — an integrity-control officer in the division that handles case evidence — told Ventura never to speak to anyone about their affair, allegedly threatening “I’ll f–-king kill you” and that he would “push [her] in front of a train,” the suit claims.
The two had struck up a friendship a year prior and dated for a few months as they were both going through divorces.
But Ventura, a 40-year-old mom of two, broke things off in September 2021 after seeing a different side of Lucas, according to her lawsuit.
“We want to thank the Kings County District Attorney’s Office for, first, believing our client, pursuing this matter, and seeking justice regardless of the position held by the Defendant,” Ventura’s attorney John Scola said Tuesday.
“No woman should be subjected to sexual violence in the workplace. When these situations do arise, it is important that victims can come forward and know these complaints will be listened to and taken seriously.”
Lucas, who was reassigned to Brooklyn courts in April after the lawsuit emerged, was arraigned Tuesday and cut free with a court date of Oct. 12.

He has been suspended from the NYPD without pay.
Neither Lucas nor a union rep for the cop could not be reached for comment.
His attorney did not return calls.
