A city sanitation worker was arrested Monday for allegedly shooting two people — including a teen accused of stealing his car in the Bronx earlier this month, according to cops and law enforcement sources.

Richie Torres allegedly fired at his black Chevy Tahoe after the 16-year-old boy hopped inside the vehicle near Trafalgar Place and 176th Street around 10:20 p.m. on April 4, police said.

One of the bullets struck the teen in the shoulder and another round hit a 28-year-old innocent bystander who was sitting inside of a nearby car, police and sources said.

Torres, 44, left the scene following the shooting and never reported his car stolen, according to police and sources.

The vehicle was found abandoned a short distance from the scene of the shooting, police said.

The city worker was arrested on the job Monday, sources said. He was charged with attempted murder, assault, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment, according to police.

The teen was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, police said.
