This Big Apple pol is rallying around a different kind of cut during budget season.

City Councilman Kevin Riley (D-Bronx) eagerly spread the news of his vasectomy in the hopes of convincing other men there’s no shame in getting snipped

“Me moving through my house after my Vasectomy on [Friday],” the pol chirped on X, sharing a GIF of a strung-out Leonardo DiCaprio crawling on the ground.

Riley said he posted about getting snipped to destigmatize the procedure among men. X @KevinCRiley

“Better me than my wife again!”

After Riley and wife Danielle decided their baby-making days were over, the father of three cut to the chase with getting the procedure done, he told The Post.

The newly neutered lawmaker said he didn’t have many men in his life with whom to discuss having a vasectomy, where a doctor cuts and seals the tubes that carry sperm. Although the procedure is considered a permanent form of birth control, reversals are possible.

Sharing his decision to become a certified blanks shooter will hopefully help destigmatize getting snipped, particularly in light of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade in 2022, Riley said.

“If you’re looking at what’s going on with Roe versus Wade, I think men should do their part with controlling the population,” the 36-year-old said, adding it’s a less risky than women getting their tubes tied.

“[After the operation] it feels like someone kicked you in your groin, but it feels less painful than delivering the baby, getting your tubes tied, or even getting an abortion.”
