A man has been arrested for allegedly bludgeoning to death his roommate — who was found lying “in a pool of blood” in their Brooklyn apartment six months ago.
Ian Wiggins, 42, was nabbed in the Bronx Tuesday and hit with murder and weapon possession charges in the death of 53-year-old James Hudley, who was discovered face down on his bed on Jan. 11 in East New York, cops said.
Police believe Hudley had been killed several days prior, a source told The Post at the time.
His body was partly decomposed and had trauma to the back of the head when cops made the grim discovery.
A blood-drenched hammer was discovered in the apartment near Hudley’s body.
It’s not clear what led Wiggings to allegedly beat his roommate to death.
Hudley and Wiggins had another roommate who was not publicly identified.
Wiggins was awaiting arraignment Wednesday.
