Police are on the hunt for a gunman who fired shots that struck a woman inside a Bronx deli earlier this month.
The suspect was standing in the vicinity of Dewey Avenue on March 5 at about 6:20 p.m. when he fired multiple rounds towards the Nana Food Center on Quincy Avenue, cops said.
A female customer, 31, was struck once in the buttocks and taken by EMS to Jacobi Medical Center, where she was treated and released, police said.
The 5-foot-6, 195-pound gunman disappeared before cops arrived. He was last seen wearing a black ski mask, gray jacket, and blue jeans, authorities said.
There are no arrests and no weapon was recovered, cops said.
Police on Saturday released a 14-second surveillance video clip and a photo of the suspect.
Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
