A man exposed himself and performed a lewd act inside a lower Manhattan subway station – in clear view of a Bronx councilwoman who then reported the perv to the cops, according to police and sources.

City Council Member Pierina Sanchez told cops she spotted the sicko masturbating in front of straphangers, as she was riding an escalator on the mezzanine level of the Park Place station in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, police said. 

Surveillance footage released by the NYPD shows the suspect – who is bald, heavyset and has a dark complexion – passing through a turnstile to leave the station while wearing a black graphic T-shirt.

He has not been caught. 

Sanchez’ office did not respond to a request for comment Thursday. 

A Democrat, she has represented the City Council’s District 14 – which covers the neighborhoods of Kingsbridge, Fordham, University Heights, Mount Eden and Mount Hope – since 2022.

That May, gunfire erupted outside Sanchez’ Morris Avenue office, two weeks in a row. 

In the first incident, a 24-year-old man was shot in the leg.

No one was hit in the second shooting – but the bullets flew in broad daylight, sending the pol and her team scrambling for cover.
