An attacker slashed a woman inside a Midtown train station early Tuesday after accusing her of staring at him, cops and sources said.

The 28-year-old woman was standing on the northbound C train platform at the 50th Street station around 3:10 a.m. when the brute demanded that she stop looking at him, authorities and sources said.

He then turned violent and slashed the woman in the torso with a knife, cops said.

He bolted from the station and had not been caught by Wednesday.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The suspect, described as a man in his 50s, about 6-foot tall, was last seen wearing yellow pants and a blue shirt, carrying a black duffle bag.

Surveillance footage released by the NYPD later Tuesday shows him strolling on the sidewalk and looking around.
