They’re getting the band back together.
*NSYNC has recorded their first new song in over two decades for the upcoming DreamWorks movie “Trolls Band Together.”
The trailer for the kids’ movie dropped Thursday and confirmed weeks-long speculation that Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and Lance Bass had reunited in the studio for a track titled “Better Place.”
The full song, which is teased in the trailer, will be released on streaming services on Sept. 29.
Timberlake, who was the first band member to go solo in 2002, voices the character Branch in the “Trolls” film franchise.
The “Cry Me a River” crooner, 42, also sang the chart-topping hit “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” in the first “Trolls” movie in 2016.
All five members of *NSYNC are “expected to have surprise roles” in the forthcoming third installment, which hits the big screen on Nov. 17, a source told “Entertainment Tonight.”
The reunion was first teased in March when Troye Sivan’s character, Floyd, told Branch, “We’re out of sync” in a different trailer.
“We’ve gone from boys to men, and now there’s only one direction for us to go: to the back streets,” Floyd added, referencing iconic boy bands Boyz II Men, One Direction and the Backstreet Boys.

The “Better Place” announcement comes two days after the “Bye Bye Bye” singers made a triumphant return to the MTV Video Music Awards, where they presented Taylor Swift with an award.
The “Anti-Hero” singer, who took home Best Pop Video, was flabbergasted by the reunion.
“Over 20 years ago, we were here when we won Best Pop Video for ‘Bye Bye Bye,'” Chasez, 47, said onstage.
“It was our first VMA, and it meant the world to us.”
Kirkpatrick, 51, added, “That award validated our hard work.”
When Swift, 33, took the stage, she joked that she was “not doing well pivoting from” fangirling over the band to giving an acceptance speech.
“I had your dolls. Are you doing something? What’s going to happen now? They’re going to do something, and I need to know what it is,” she speculated.
The group previously made a brief appearance together in 2013 when they joined Timberlake onstage at the VMAs in celebration of him receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
Their last single, “Girlfriend,” was released in 2002 off their third and final studio album, “Celebrity.”
Chasez and Timberlake went on to have solo careers, and all five members have remained on good terms, even reuniting in 2018 when they received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
