NextImg:Notorious wedding crasher arrested once again after stealing gifts in three states

A sticky-fingered wedding crasher who has already been busted multiple times stealing gifts from newlyweds in several states has now struck again, authorities allege.

Sandra Lynn Henson, 56, was nabbed in her home state of Mississippi last Saturday after allegedly rocking up to a wedding without an invite, the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Office said.

Authorities haven’t disclosed what Henson allegedly made off with at the Pontotoc County wedding — but said the serial crasher had since been charged with petit larceny, trespassing and disturbing the peace.

Henson, who was wanted in Alabama at the time of her recent bust, has a long history of targeting nuptials, according to the sheriff’s office.

“Apparently Miss Henson has been arrested in Alabama, Tennessee and Mississippi for crashing weddings and stealing money and cards from purses,” the sheriff’s office said.

Henson’s crime spree dates back to 2017 when she was convicted of stealing from a wedding and put on probation, Alabama.com reported.

Then in 2019, authorities said Henson had allegedly been linked to thefts at nine different weddings in the Yellow Hammer state.

At the time, police in Florence, Alabama had broadcast a surveillance image of Henson walking around one of the reception venues she’d targeted in a bid to track her down.

She later turned herself in and was slapped with multiple charges of theft. The outcome of that case wasn’t immediately clear.

Still, multiple victims later came forward alleging they, too, had witnessed her stealing gifts from various wedding receptions throughout Alabama, Tennessee and Mississippi.

Authorities in Marshall County, Mississippi say Henson was busted stealing gifts at this 2021 wedding.

In 2021, Henson was busted again helping herself to cards, money and gifts at a wedding in Marshall County, Mississippi.

She was eventually convicted, had her probation revoked and was sentenced to five years in prison, ABC24 reported.

Under that sentence, Henson wasn’t due to be released by the Mississippi Department of Corrections until 2025, according to the outlet.

It wasn’t immediately clear when, or why, she was released earlier.
