That was cold.
Former Barstool Sports podcaster Alex Cooper took a shot at her ex, MLB pitcher Noah Syndergaard, who is currently a free agent, and said she believes he’s on his way out of the league.
During the season 4 premiere episode of her “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Cooper and TikTok superstar Alix Earle were discussing their MLB exes, when Earle recalled her ex, Tyler Wade, a utility player for the Oakland Athletics, telling her that his Los Angeles Angels teammates would tease Syndergaard about Cooper in the locker room.
“It can give us a little piece of mind, Alix, for everyone s—ting on us for our jobs, to know that people in the MLB locker rooms are forever going to be chanting our names until they f–king retire, which I’m sure mine is on his way out,” Cooper said while doing her makeup with Earle.
“He can’t get a f–king contract. It’s not that I look [at the MLB news], people just send me this s–t.”
Wade and Syndergaard played together on the Angels in 2022.
Cooper and Syndergaard began dating in April 2017, when they were spotted kissing at a Knicks game, as previously reported by The Post.
After an on-off relationship, Syndergaard, who was with the Mets at the time, appeared to indicate he was single in a post on Twitter, now X, in December 2017, which read: “Baseball is my significant other” with the hashtag, “focus.”
Cooper reflected on the relationship in an interview with Rolling Stone published on Tuesday.
“I was living this very glamorous lifestyle because he was rich,” she said. “And I was nobody.”
Syndergaard has struggled since he underwent Tommy John surgery in 2020.
The Cleveland Guardians released Syndergaard last month after just six starts and a 5.40 ERA in 33 1/3 innings with the club.
That came after a disastrous start to the season with the Dodgers.
Syndergaard was a powerhouse pitcher with the Mets from 2015-21, and made the All-Star game in 2016.
He joined the Angels as a free agent in 2022 and Los Angeles sent him to the Phillies before the trade deadline that year.
Syndergaard rode Philadelphia’s late-season surge all the way to the World Series, and started Game 5 vs. the Astros, taking the loss after giving up two earned runs in three innings of work.
Cooper is currently engaged to film producer Matt Kaplan, a former quarterback at Columbia University.
The couple, who met over a Zoom call in 2020, announced their engagement in April 2023.
Cooper recently launched The Unwell Network and signed Earle, who launched her own podcast “Hot Mess,” under the umbrella on Thursday.
Earle is believed to be dating Miami Dolphins receiver Braxton Berrios following his split from model, Sophia Culpo.
