Following the Jets’ 24-3 win over the Patriots this week, Amazon’s Prime Video debuted a new ‘Late Hits’ segment featuring comedian Nikki Glaser, where she awkwardly roasted the team’s QB Aaron Rodgers and others.

Glaser, who delivered a hilariously edgy set at The Roast of Tom Brady, fired off a series of one-liners directed at the two teams and the Amazon crew.

Glaser kicked things off by telling host Charissa Thompson that she looked like “the final boss at a country club,” before poking fun at Rodgers and Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley.

The somewhat out-of-place segment drew mixed reactions from viewers on social media.

“This Nikki Glaser segment is so awkward. What is Amazon doing?” said one fan.

“Nikki Glaser bombing like crazy right now [laughing crying emojis] this ain’t her stage,” another added.

A third person wrote: “Somehow the Nikki Glaser postgame is even worse than the actual game.”

Others, however, felt that she did a great job considering the stage she was given.

“What @NikkiGlaserjust did is so damn hard,” wrote NBC Sports fantasy football analyst Matthew Berry. “Telling jokes with no audience while Jets fans scream in the back ground and she still absolutely killed. That was hilarious.”

Another person said, “Damn the prime hosts are giving Nikki Glaser NOTHING. She deserved so much better. This is so hard to watch. These jokes are actually pretty good but its so hard to laugh past my secondhand embarrassment of her getting zero co-host laughs besides Richard Sherman’s heavy breathing.”

One fan also wrote, “I thought she nailed it. Something new. Something different. Give me more of it!”

During her roughly five-minute set, Glaser referred to Aaron Rodgers as ‘Throw Rogan’ since he has expressed similar views to podcast host Joe Rogan.

She also mentioned a somewhat awkward moment between Rodgers and coach Robert Saleh in the first half, claiming that the latter was “remind[ing] him that RFK Jr. dropped out of the [presidential] race.”

Glaser also ripped linebacker C.J. Mosley for missing the game with a toe injury, calling it a “grade one ow-wee.”

She then shifted focus to the Patriots and new coach Jerod Mayo, joking that it must be “tough” for former longtime coach Bill Belichick “watching his ex rebound with a hot black guy.”

The comedian then ragged on her Amazon colleagues, saying Richard Sherman looks like “Busta Rhymes on Ozempic” and calling Andrew Whitworth “Men’s Warehouse Shrek.”

She also said that Tony Gonzalez “looks like a genie you can only summon by rubbing the crotch of a sensible Talbots pantsuit.”

Additionally, she referred to retired QB Ryan Fitzpatrick as ‘Sacked Galifianakis’ in reference to his bearded appearance resembling actor Zach Galifianakis.

She also called the matchup between New England and New York a “battle of cities where you can get stabbed at a parade.”

Whether or not you enjoyed Glaser’s set, it won’t be the last you see of her on Thursday Night Football. During her appearance she announced that she’d be back on the program four more times.
