Nickelodeon alum Alexa Nikolas claims Joe Jonas asked her for “nudes” when they were both teenagers amid his divorce from Sophie Turner.
The former “Zoey 101” star took to Twitter Friday to shade the Jonas Brothers frontman for allegedly seeking out the explicit photos despite maintaining a very wholesome public persona at the time.
“I met Joe Jonas when we were teens and let’s just say he’s the guy who wore a purity ring but asked for nudes????,” Nikolas, 31, alleged.
A rep for Jonas did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The now 34-year-old — along with his brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas — famously wore a purity ring when he first stepped into the limelight. This became a big talking point about the band for years to come.
Nikolas isn’t the first person to hint that Joe was sexually active in his teens despite wearing the symbolic jewelry.
During the “Jonas Brothers Family Roast” in 2021, the “Cake by the Ocean” singer’s soon-to-be ex-wife joked that he “wasn’t just sticking his fingers in some dumb metal rings.”
“He was sticking his fingers in co-stars, actresses, and even a supermodel or two,” Turner joked, adding that “the rings weren’t a good idea.”
In fact, Joe admitted that he had actually lost his virginity when he was 20 — a few years before the band publicly ditched the rings in 2013.
“We decided to take the rings off a few years ago,” he told New York magazine. “I lost my virginity when I was 20. I did other stuff before then, but I was sexually active at 20. I’m glad I waited for the right person because you look back and you go, ‘That girl was bats–t crazy. I’m glad I didn’t go there.’”
Joe and the “Game of Thrones” actress started dating in 2016 and tied the knot three years later.
However, the couple announced that they were getting a divorce after four years of marriage earlier this week.
While there have been reports claiming Joe found compromising Ring doorbell footage of Turner, other sources say that the pair simply had differing lifestyles.

Insiders told TMZ Thursday that the singer was “less than supportive” of Turner following the arrival of their second child.
According to the outlet, Joe tried to get Turner to attend more industry events despite the actress making “it clear she was uncomfortable” and “didn’t want to be there.”
Yet since their split, many social media users — including “Real Housewives of New York” alum Bethenny Frankel — have accused Joe of “spinning” their divorce for good publicity.
“It seems like his team decided to … kill or be killed,” the reality TV star said in a TikTok Wednesday. “His PR team definitely said, ‘We know this is coming, and we’ve got to spin this thing. We’ve got to go and try to control the ocean.'”
However, Frankel said the tactic has been “backfiring” as many social media users have started to defend Turner.
