The cause of death of Nick Carter’s sister, Bobbie Jean Carter has been confirmed, nearly two months after her passing at 41.
Bobbie Jean’s death was caused by intoxication due to the combined effects of fentanyl and methamphetamine, according to the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner in Florida. The medical examiner ruled the death accidental, according to Page Six, who reported the news on Tuesday, February 13.
Bobbie Jean’s mom, Jane Carter, announced the “sudden” passing of her daughter on Saturday, December 23.
“I am in shock from learning of the sudden death of my daughter, Bobbie Jean; and I will need time to process the terrible reality of this happening for the third time,” Jane shared in a statement with TMZ at the time. “When I am able to think clearly, I’ll release a fuller statement; but until then I would request to be left to grieve in private.”
More to come.
