NextImg:NFL Week 6 betting recap, trends, line movement: Chiefs’ rebirth, Giants rookies shining

The Post’s Dylan Svoboda takes a look at this week’s betting trends and storylines.

The Chiefs are back in familiar territory.

After an impressive win over the Lions, the Chiefs are now tied with the Bills, who suffered a bad loss to the Falcons on Monday, for the best odds to win the 2026 Super Bowl (+650, DraftKings Sportsbook).

Patrick Mahomes is in line to win some more hardware as well.

Playing as well as he has in a couple of seasons, Mahomes is the current favorite to win the NFL MVP award (+185).

He takes Josh Allen’s spot after Buffalo’s loss in Atlanta.

The future looks bright for Big Blue.

Jaxson Dart took over as the Offensive Rookie of the Year favorite (+125) after an impressive upset win over the Eagles on Thursday night.

And that’s not all.

No. 3 overall pick Abdul Carter is a +180 favorite to win the Defensive Rookie of the Year award.

New York Giants' Jaxson Dart reacts after scoring a touchdown during the first half of an NFL football game against the Philadelphia Eagles Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, in East Rutherford, N.J.

It’s been a year from hell in Baltimore.

After coming into the year as a Super Bowl favorite, the Ravens are now more likely than not to miss the playoffs, according to oddsmakers.

Baltimore is -140 to fall short of the postseason for just the second time with Lamar Jackson on the roster.

The Ravens will likely get Jackson back in Week 8 after their bye week, but at 1-5, they’ll need to go on a massive run if they want to avoid a lost season.

The NFC is anyone’s to win.

The Packers and Lions are tied atop the DraftKings odds board at +425 to win the conference, which are relatively high chances with so much of the season already in the books.

And their competition isn’t far behind.

Three more teams — the Eagles, Rams, and Buccaneers — have odds of 7/1 or better.

Further down the list, the 49ers, Commander,s and Seahawks are all 12/1 or better.
