And then there were five.
Let the debates begin.
Who is the best team in the NFL?
Well, there are only two undefeated teams remaining: The defending Super Bowl champion Eagles and the overdue-to-reach-a-Super-Bowl Bills.
Who is the worst team in the NFL?
Well, there are three winless teams remaining: The Saints, Titans and Jets.
Everyone else is jammed somewhere in the middle of the league, whether underachieving — what is wrong with the Ravens? — or catching everyone’s attention for arriving ahead of schedule (Jaguars).
Here are The Post’s NFL power rankings for Week 5:
Josh Allen put a tougher-than-expected victory on ice with a 27-yard run followed by a 28-yard touchdown pass to Dalton Kincaid in the fourth quarter of a 31-19 victory against the winless Saints. The Bills have won 14 straight regular-season games at home — one shy of tying a franchise record. James Cook rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown.

Two different variations on the much-maligned Tush Push went for touchdowns in a 31-25 victory against the Buccaneers. Saquon Barkley scored on a 6-yard run and Dallas Goedert caught an underhanded 2-yard touchdown pass — both out of the Eagles’ signature bunch formation. The defense stopped a 12-play drive on fourth down with one minute remaining.
Jared Goff threw two touchdown passes to Amon-Ra St. Brown in a 34-10 beatdown of the Browns. Kalif Raymond returned a punt 65 yards for a touchdown so that it was less significant that Goff had season lows in completion percentage and passing yards. Aidan Hutchinson has sacks in three straight games and forced fumbles in back-to-back games.
Is the dynasty back in business? It sure looked that way as Patrick Mahomes was at his best in throwing for 270 yards and four touchdowns to four different targets in a statement-making 37-20 rout of the Ravens. Xavier Worthy returned from a shoulder injury to gain 121 yards from scrimmage. The Chiefs have won seven of the past eight meetings.

Micah Parsons’ return to Dallas turned into a quarterback shootout and field goal kicking contest that ended in a 40-40 tie. Yuck. Jordan Love threw for 337 yards and three touchdowns — and all three scores wound up in the hands of Romeo Doubs. Brandon McManus beat the clock at the end of regulation and overtime with tying field goals. Parsons had a sack.
Baker Mayfield threw touchdown passes of 77 yards (Emeka Egbuka) and 72 yards (Bucky Irving), and Chase McLaughlin kicked the longest field goal in NFL history in an outdoor stadium (65 yards). And the Bucs still lost to the Eagles, after Mayfield threw a panicked red-zone interception and a fourth-down completion short of the sticks in the fourth quarter.
A pair of fourth-quarter touchdown passes from Matthew Stafford to Puka Nacua (nine yards) and Tutu Atwell (88 yards) turned a seven-point deficit into a 27-20 victory against the Colts. Kam Curl’s second interception of the day closed out a win that was helped by the Colts’ Adonai Mitchell fumbling away an easy touchdown. The 88-yarder touchdown of Stafford’s 17-year career.
Just when it looked like the Chargers had turned a corner, they came across the country and laid an egg in a 21-18 loss to the Giants. Justin Herbert threw a pair of interceptions that gift-wrapped 10 points. The play calling inexplicably abandoned the run despite Omarion Hampton’s success (12 carries for 128 yards and a touchdown).

Jason Myers saved his team from blowing a 14-point lead with six minutes remaining when he drilled a walk-off 52-yard field goal in a 23-20 victory against the Cardinals. A landing-zone violation set up the game-winning four-play, 26-yard drive, featuring a clutch 22-yard pass from Sam Darnold to Jaxson Smith-Njigba. The Seahawks have won eight straight meetings.
Lamar Jackson suffered a hamstring strain and seven defensive starters did not finish the game against the Chiefs. Panic time? It’s close. But you can’t ignore that the Ravens’ three losses are against the Chiefs, Lions and Bills – three of the NFL’s top five teams. Derrick Henry’s strange season continued, with just eight carries for 42 yards.
The Jaxson Dart Era started with a bang. The rookie quarterback ran for a touchdown and threw for another in his first start, sparking an upset of the Chargers. Dexter Lawrence II and Dru Phillips returned interceptions inside the 5-yard line, and the trio of Kayvon Thibodeaux, Brian Burns and Abdul Carter totaled 20 pressures and 12 quarterback hits.
Aaron Glenn was peeling the paint off the locker room walls after his team committed 13 penalties and three turnovers in a 27-21 loss to the Dolphins. Justin Fields had a Michael Vick-like 43-yard touchdown run and Garrett Wilson had a ridiculous touchdown catch, but the Jets played from a double-digit deficit most of the game.
