It’s the hottest bet of conference championship weekend.

Do you believe in the Detroit Lions?

BetMGM Sportsbook tells The Post that the Lions ML (+260) is the most popular bet of the weekend in terms of ticket count, followed by Lions +7.

A staggering 72 percent of moneyline bets for Lions-49ers clash are on Detroit, while 71 percent of the actual money is on the Lions.

The betting public loves the underdog story this weekend.

But the major concern is going to be the Lions’ defense, which has looked terrible against the pass in the second half of the season.

The Lions have been gashed by opposing wide receivers, allowing Mike Evans to tally 147 receiving yards last week while Puka Nacua grabbed 181 the week prior.

Prior to that, Justin Jefferson brought in 192 yards in Week 18, and CeeDee Lamb’s 227 receiving yards in Week 17 was the third-most in a game this season.

Deebo Samuel may not suit up for the 49ers in the NFC conference championship game, though, so look for soon-to-be free agent Brandon Aiyuk to be a significant factor in Sunday’s game.

The poor defensive play lends itself to bets on the over and BetMGM reports 71 percent of the handle is on over 51 total points.

Then, we get to the 49ers’ run defense, which allowed six yards per carry to Packers running back Aaron Jones.

The Lions are seventh in the league in rushing yards per game (131.8) and fifth in the NFL in yards per carry (4.5) behind the duo of David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs.

Dan Campbell’s group has the worst odds among the remaining teams to win the Super Bowl, coming in at +800 for them to win the final two games of the season.
