NextImg:NFL bettor used sharp tactics to win $264K on seven-leg Seahawks-Giants parlay

Ineptitude from Big Blue paid out big money on this Same-Game Parlay wager for Monday’s Giants-Seahawks game.

The bettor aggressively put $5,000 on a seven-leg parlay, which won a wild $264,941.29 on FanDuel Sportsbook during the “Monday Night Football” game.

It was wild to see this bet hit, which perhaps came from a professional handicapper with the way it was constructed.

Here are the seven legs, which featured +5198 odds:

— Seahawks moneyline
— Under 46.5 total points
— Kenneth Walker III anytime touchdown scorer
— Walker over 66.5 rushing yards
— Matt Breida under 42.5 rushing yards
— Daniel Jones 25+ rushing yards
— DK Metcalf anytime touchdown scorer

You’ll notice that the bet consists of two touchdown scorers and the under for the total game.

Typically, the sportsbook algorithms will give you massive odds when you parlay counter-productive lines.

The Action Network’s Steven Petrella did a wonderful job breaking down the math of how these complicated algorithms work and how you can beat the system there.

“One good way to juice up your parlays is to use a prop that fits the opposite narrative of everything else you’ve bet,” Petrella writes.

We call this type of parlay “negative correlation,” where you have one leg that is entirely contradictory to everything else in the parlay, drastically increasing the payout if you’re right.

Of course, this leaves your parlay’s margin for error much smaller too, but at least you are getting compensated for it.

In his example, he used multiple overs and anytime touchdown scorers in a Same-Game Parlay, while adding the under for the game, which massively increased the odds of the bet.

This bettor didn’t just slap together a bunch of bets into a Same-Game Parlay and hope for the best.

This is an experienced player who knows how to beat the algorithm.

At its core, this parlay was a master class tutorial of how to win big when taking those Same-Game Parlays, which always will feature a massive vig that sportsbooks charge.
