NextImg:New Shows & Movies To Watch This Weekend: ‘The Perfect Couple’ on Netflix + More

Where to Stream:

The Perfect Couple

Powered by Reelgood

This week is filled with amazing prestige dramas like The Perfect Couple on Netflix and Fight Night: The Perfect Heist on Peacock, as well as great reality shows, like The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives on Hulu, a new season of Selling Sunset on Netflix, and more.

Not sure which new releases to check out? Let us here at Decider help you figure out what to watch this weekend and where to stream it.

It’s all about great ensembles in this week’s new releases on streaming. On Netflix, you’ve got The Perfect Couple, which stars Nicole Kidman, Eve Hewson, Liev Schreiber, Dakota Fanning, Meghann Fahy, and many others, while Peacoch’s Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist co-stars Taraji P. Henson, Samuel L. Jackson, Kevin Hart, and Terrence Howard. Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives will introduce you to a new cast of women who might not be household names today but will be…Mormontarily. Momentarily. You get it.

In Netflix’s The Perfect Couple, Eve Hewson plays a young woman about to marry into a wealthy New England family. Her future in-laws, played by Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber, have spared no expense to make the wedding perfect, until a dead body washes up on the beach. The series is based on the novel by Elin Hildebrand and all six episodes are out now.

The new Hulu reality series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives offers a closer look at several #MomTok influencers, Mormon women made famous for their honest and revealing social media accounts about their lives. But it also promises plenty of dirt on the alleged “soft swinging” scandal that these women were embroiled in back in 2022 when one of their own, Taylor Frankie Paul, revealed that she and her husband, Tate Paul, were divorcing because she cheated on him with a friend’s husband.

Peacock’s Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, which arrived on September 5, stars Samuel L. Jackson, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard, Don Cheadle and Kevin Hart. (Not a bad ensemble!) The limited series is based on the real events of an Atlanta robbery back in 1970 that took place during Muhammad Ali’s comeback fight.

WHERE TO WATCH FIGHT NIGHT: THE MILLION DOLLAR HEIST

The options above only scratch the surface, so you know that this weekend’s full lineup will have amazing options for what to watch this weekend!
