The multiverse of mysterious timelines is back with the long-awaited return of Loki to Disney+ this week, but that’s just one of the many new shows and movies that are newly available to stream. We’re also getting new seasons of hits like Our Flag Means Death on Max and Lupin on Netflix, plus a completely original limited series, Bargain, on Paramount+.
Not sure which new releases to check out? Let us here at Decider help you figure out what to watch this weekend and where to stream it.
Tom Hiddleston returns as the trickster Loki in the second season of the Disney+ series Loki, and once again he’s working to rectify all the chaos he created in the Avengers films when he violated the Sacred Timeline. Over on Max, Our Flag Means Death reunites audiences with their favorite dysfunctional pirates as we sail into that show’s second season. And on Paramount+, a wildly thrilling limited series, Bargain, somehow manages to be an action-packed thriller about sexual predators, black market organ sales, and a deadly earthquake, all rolled into one.
Tom Hiddleston returns this week for a new season on Loki on Disney+, joined by pretty much everyone else who starred in the first season of the acclaimed series. In the new season, which airs weekly, Loki teams up with Owen Wilson’s Mobius in order to help the Time Variance Authority locate Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) who is now existing in a different timeline from the rest of the cast.
In the new Paramount+ limited series Bargain, the first half of the premise would be exciting enough: men who arrive at a hotel in order to have sex with teenage girls are victims end up as victims of organ theft. But the real curveball occurs when an earthquake traps these hapless victims, the organ traffickers and the black market buyers who want their body parts in the hotel together in a battle to the death. The full series of Bargain is available now on Paramount+.
Arrrrre you ready for the return of Stede Bonnet (Rhys Darby) and his motley crew of pirates? Our Flag Means Death returns to Max this week for its second season, dropping the first three episodes this Thursday, and the rest rolling out weekly after that. The new season will reunite Stede with his rival/paramour Blackbeard (Taika Waititi) and marks the arrival of Minnie Driver to the show as pirate Ann Bonny.
The options above only scratch the surface, so you know that this weekend’s full lineup will have amazing options for what to watch this weekend!
