There are plenty of new seasons of old favorite shows returning to streaming, from those debutantes promenading in front of the Queen on Bridgerton to the promenading queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars on Paramount+. These and dozens of other titles are available this week on streaming. Not sure which new releases to check out? Let us here at Decider help you figure out what to watch this weekend and where to stream it.
On the latest season of Netflix’s Bridgerton, Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) is in the middle of it all, as she tries to reconcile with her old friends the Bridgertons and keep up her secret identity as Lady Whistledown. Over on Prime Video, Josh Brolin returns in Outer Range as Royal Abbott, the Wyoming rancher whose land has a mysterious, supernatural black hole which appeared after the arrival of a mysterious stranger. And over on Paramount+ with Showtime, the library is open thanks to a new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, which premieres Friday with two episodes.
Will this season finally be the one where Colin realizes he loves Penelope on Bridgerton? She sure hopes so. This week, the first four episodes of season three will drop and will tie up some loose ends that were left when season two concluded, including the states of Colin and Eloise’s relationships with their old pal Penelope Featherington, and the current state of Kanthony’s relationship. The second half of the season will be available on June 13th.
Prime Video’s Outer Range is described by the streamer as a “time-warped Western” and in season two, rancher Royal Abbott (Josh Brolin) and his wife Cecelia (Lili Taylor) grapple with their ranching rivals, the mysterious void on their property, and the unexplained disappearance of their granddaughter. All seven episodes of Outer Range are available on Prime Video this week.
The new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars comes with a couple of twists: This time around, there will only be eight fan-favorite queens competing, and they’re doing it out of the goodness of their hearts, as the winner of the $200,000 grand prize will be donating their winnings to charity. This year’s competitors include Angeria Paris VanMichaels, Gottmik, Jorgeous, Nina West, Plastique Tiara, Roxxxy Andrews, Shannel, and Vanessa Vanjie, and the season will premiere with two episodes this Friday, and new episodes dropping weekly after that. (And stay tuned, of course, for episodes of RuPauls Drag Race All Stars: Untucked after each episode.)
The options above only scratch the surface, so you know that this weekend’s full lineup will have amazing options for what to watch this weekend!
