Netflix favorite Ginny & Georgia is back this week, along with new seasons on BMF on Starz, and Love Island USA on Peacock. If you’re looking for a movie to watch this weekend, try Taraji P. Henson as a woman pushed to the edge in Tyler Perry’s Straw, which is out now on Netflix.
Not sure which new releases to check out? Let us here at Decider help you figure out what to watch this weekend and where to stream it.
Ginny & Georgia is one of Netflix’s most addictive shows thanks to it’s blend of mystery, humor, and melodrama, and it’s back for season three this week. You can also catch the 50 Cent-produced BFF on Starz, that show is back for a fourth season this Friday. And of course you probably already know this but Love Island USA, hosted once again my Ariana Madix, is back on Peacock, so you can get your nightly fix of tropical romance once again.
It seemed like Georgia (Brianne Howey) was finally starting to come clean and be open about her past at the end of season two of Ginny & Georgia when she was unexpectedly arrested for (another) murder. Now that season three is finally here, we’ll see whether she’ll actually be headed to prison and what it all means for her kids Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and Austin (Diesel La Torraca), and her relationship with Paul (Scott Porter).
Admit it, you spent more hours than you should have watching and investing in Love Island USA last summer, didn’t you? The addictive reality dating competition hosted by Ariana Madix, which airs 6 nights per week, returned to Peacock on June 3 and this season is about to be our new show of the summer.
The fourth season of BMF on Starz will feature new feuds and new faces. As they continue to expand their territory, a brewing feud causes a rift between brothers Meech (Demetrius Flenory Jr.) and Terry Flenory (Da’Vinchi) while they also have to evade an officer on their tale played by new cast member Michael Chiklis. Get ready for more BMF when the new season premieres tonight.
The options above only scratch the surface, so you know that this weekend’s full lineup will have amazing options for what to watch this weekend!
