This week’s new movie releases on VOD run the gamut from kid-friendly Pixar fun, like Inside Out 2, to supernatural horror, like Shudder’s newest film, Oddity, and the Nicolas Cage serial killer thriller Longlegs.
In the straight-to-VOD action thriller The Clean-Up Crew, Melissa Leo and Jonathan Rhys Myers star as a crime scene clean up crew who stumble on a briefcase full of money. Antonio Banderas stars as the suave criminal who wants it back.

In Inside Out 2, all of the emotions that young Riley felt as a kid, including Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust are thrown out of whack when Riley’s new adolescent emotions like Anxiety (Maya Hawke) and Envy (Ayo Edebiri) show up. Amy Poehler returns as the voice of Joy in the sequel, along with the voice talents of Lewis Black, Phyllis Smith, Tony Hale, Liza Lapira and many others.
Hailed by some as the scariest movie of the year, Longlegs, which stars Nicolas Cage and Maika Monroe, is out on digital this week. The cat-and-mouse serial killer thriller stars Monroe as an FBI agent hunting down a creepy killer, played by Cage.
Starring Gwilym Lee, Oddity takes place one year after a woman named Dani is brutally murdered in the home she and her husband were renovating. Determined to solve the case, Dani’s blind twin sister, Darcy, who also happens to be a psychic, decides to pay an unexpected visit to her brother-in-law and his new girlfriend with vengeance in mind.
