New Hampshire voters are casting the first primary ballots of the 2024 election cycle, continuing a tradition that began in 1920.

On the Republican side, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is hoping the Granite State can give her a victory to dent former President Donald Trump’s aura of invincibility following his blowout win in Iowa last week.

President Biden, meanwhile, will not be on the ballot in the Democratic primary due to a scheduling dispute New Hampshire officials and the Democratic National Committee. That has left state party officials to wage a write-in campaign on Biden’s behalf against Rep. Dean Phillips (D-Minn.) and self-help author Marianne Williamson.
