Teresa Giudice reportedly tried to give a policeman a family business card during a traffic stop, according to newly released bodycam footage obtained by TMZ.

The former Real Housewives of New Jersey star was pulled over for swerving lanes back in May. The newly released bodycam footage shows her handing over her driver’s license along with “a family business card,” likely trying to pull the old “Don’t you know who I am?” trick with the policeman, as TMZ reports.

He turned down the business card but eventually let her off with a warning after checking her background.

But Giudice’s attorney, James Leonard, denied any wrongdoing on her part in a statement to TMZ.

“There is no family business card. That is ridiculous. No such card exists or has ever existed,” he claimed.

“She was referring to a New Jersey State PBA card that was given to her by an acquaintance who is a law enforcement officer and issued her the card,” Leonard stated, referring to the Policemen’s Benevolent Association.

Her attorney also slammed the fact that the bodycam footage was released at all, especially five months after the traffic stop.

“The bigger issue here is why is a video of a woman being pulled over, who did absolutely nothing wrong, being released to the public more than five months after the actual motor vehicle stop happened,” he said.

This wouldn’t be Giudice’s first run in with the law.

The Real Houswives star famously served an 11-month jail sentence in 2014 for fraud charges connected to her ex-husband’s bankruptcy fraud case. But she claims they made an example of her because of her fame.

“I got used as an example. What’s the saying? The good comes with the bad. Meaning, like, because I was on TV — if I was just a regular housewife, I probably wouldn’t have went to jail,”  she claimed at the 2022 BravoCon.

“Joe was telling them, ‘She has nothing to do with it,'” she recalled. “He told me, ‘Damn, they want you more than they want me!’ And he was the one who did it.”

Giudice claimed she was “shocked” to hear the judge’s decision to send her to jail.

But, fortunately enough, this recent traffic stop ended with just a warning.
