Moses Brown officially became a Net on Friday, with the team announcing the 7-foot-2 Archbishop Molloy product had signed a 10-day contract.

The center will give the Nets some much-needed size inside and more of a rebounding presence after they declined to sign Nerlens Noel to a second 10-day deal.

If the Nets intend to use Brown in the playoffs, he’ll need to sign a longer deal before the end of the regular season.

Brown, in his fourth year out of UCLA, appeared in 34 games for the Clippers earlier this season and then was signed by the Knicks, but never played for them.

He also figures to be a part of Nets head coach Jacque Vaughn’s bench rotation as a backup to Nic Claxton, but Brown hasn’t appeared in a game since Jan. 29.

The Nets have gotten little out of 2021 first-round pick Day’Ron Sharpe, who hasn’t played much this month.

Vaughn said Thursday he’s still learning about his team’s altered roster.

In a loss Thursday to the Kings, Yuta Watanabe played seven minutes in just his second game since March 5 and third since Feb. 24.

Edmond Sumner played nearly nine minutes after he had appeared in only one game since Feb. 7. 

Vaughn said he understands the difficulty of infrequent and staggered playing time, but it’s something the bench players have to adapt to as different matchups arise.

“Each game, you have to treat like a playoff game,’’ Vaughn said of the final 12 games of the regular season. “You might as well. This is where we are at the end of the season. You’ve got to be prepared, whether it’s [for] 7 minutes or 17 minutes.”

Vaughn said he turned to Watanabe and Sumner because he liked their energy on the floor.

“We needed some juice and Yuta and Ed provided juice tonight,’’ Vaughn said. “The challenge for them is if they don’t play the next game or play 30 minutes and staying ready.”
