The Nets rookie knows it’s not going to be enough just to be quick in the first quarter, but also in the fourth. Not just Game 1, but Game 82.

“Yeah, it’s just sustaining it, right?” Jordi Fernández said of the challenge for Traore. “You know coming into the NBA he’s fast, and he’s fast in the NBA, but there’s going to be guys in front of him that are going to be physical and fast. So how can he sustain that? How he can gain (and sustain) physicality?

“Because his paint touches are not just good for him to score, collapse the defense and find the 3-point line or find that second side. So, that is very good (that he’s fast), but now it is how long can you sustain it in the NBA? And that’s something that we’re going to be able to see soon enough in real games.”
