Draymond Green will be back on the court soon.

The NBA has reinstated the Warriors forward following a suspension that amounted to 12 games, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported Saturday.

Green, who has been undergoing counseling in the wake of the suspension, will still have “regular check-ins,” per Charania, even after he comes back to the court.

The NBA and Warriors have been “pleased” with Green’s progress through the situation, Charania reported.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Green will need about a week to get ready for game action.

Green was suspended indefinitely by the league in December after he struck the Suns’ Jusuf Nurkic with a spinning backfist.

It was his third physical altercation of the season and second suspension after he put Rudy Gobert of the Timberwolves in a headlock in November.

The NBA cited Green’s “repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts,” when he was given the indefinite suspension.

The addition of Green, 33, comes at a time with the Warriors at 17-18 and now without Chris Paul for the foreseeable future after he fractured his left hand — and will require surgery — in Friday’s win over the Pistons.

While on the court this year, Green has averaged 9.7 points, 5.8 assists and 5.5 points per game this year.
