NextImg:NBA bettor wins dramatic $63,000 on 18-leg parlay with Celtics win over Knicks

The Boston Celtics helped a DraftKings Sportsbook bettor cash out on an insane parlay.

Robby Tagstar, who posted on his Instagram account (@robby_tagstar) as he sweated out the parlay, took home more than $63,000 on a $99.66 bet after the 18-legger hit Wednesday night.

Needing a Boston win, Tagstar attended the Celtics-Knicks game at Madison Square Garden in a No. 33 Larry Bird jersey to watch what appeared to be the final piece of the 18-part parlay.

The Celtics were up for most of the game, but a late push made the game a bit dicey.

At halftime, with Boston up five, Tagstar was confident, but had a bit of advice for his team.

“We need better rim protection,” he said in a video posted on social media. “If we cover the glass, we’ll be alright. The offense is clicking but we need to crash the boards.

The Celtics eventually prevailed, 108-104.

The parlay featured games and props from six different sports — the NFL, NBA, MLB, WNBA, college football and MMA

The bettor apparently has been sitting on the bet for at least a month – the parlay included run lines for both the Mets and Yankees, who have not played since Oct. 1, and one bet on mixed martial arts fighter Kevin Holland, who hasn’t fought since mid-September.

Other bets included the Chiefs, Chargers, Broncos and Saints covering as underdogs, wagers on the Bruins, Liberty, Wings, LSU, Louisville, North Carolina, TCU, two unders and a T.J. Hockenson wager.

Tagstar also reportedly got a cashout offer of around $34,200 before the tipoff between the Celtics and Knicks, but decided to let the parlay ride.

“I’m a risk taker,” he said in a video posted to X. “DraftKings, we’re coming for you.”
