Disney+ has called it quits on its National Treasure spinoff series, National Treasure: Edge of History, after just one season.

The streamer has made the decision just over two months after the show’s initial 10-episode season wrapped in early February.

Debuting in December 2022, the show did appear on Nielsen’s streaming rankings once during its run, tying for ninth place among original series for the week of January 16-22 according to Deadline. Other viewership data is unfortunately not available.

The series served as a follow-up and “expansion” of the National Treasure movie franchise and starred Lisette Olivera.

Olivera played Jess, a twentysomething DACA recipient who finds herself on a search for lost treasures that have been hidden by Incan, Mayan and Aztec women from Spanish conquistadors.

Both Justin Bartha and Harvey Keitel reprised their roles from the movies. Zuri Reed, Jordan Rodrigues, Antonio Cipriano, Jake Austin Walker, Lyndon Smith and Catherine Zeta-Jones also star in the series.

The original screenwriters for the National Treasure films, Cormac and Marianne Wibberley, executive produced the series alongside the films’ producer, Jerry Bruckheimer. Rick Muirragui wrote and Mira Nair directed.
