Just call her Naomi W.
Naomi Watts was seen on the set of Ryan Murphy’s “American Love Story” for the first time, completely transforming into Jacqueline Kennedy Onasis.
Watts was seen filming in Central Park with Paul Kelly, who plays Jackie’s son John F. Kennedy Jr. in the Ryan Murphy-directed show.
The star, 56, was almost unrecognizable as she swapped her signature platinum blond bob in favor of the former first lady’s dark brown hair color.
And, she wore JBKO’s signature oversized sunglasses with a structured sun hat, gold medallion necklace and elegant black button-up with matching trousers.
Kelly, meanwhile, looked the part in a backwards baseball cap, khakis and a breezy white button-up shirt.
Grace Gummer, who plays Jackie’s daughter Caroline Kennedy, was also seen playing in the park with two little girls that are portraying Caroline‘s daughters Rose and Tatiana.
Sarah Pidgeon — who plays Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy in the show, which focuses on the young, doomed couple — was not pictured in the scene, though her wardrobe and hair have been a big focus for fans.

Fanatic fans of the Calvin Klein publicists were not pleased with the initial images and felt her famous fashions weren’t well represented, nor her signature buttery blond hair.
Even fashion bigwigs got involved, with celebrity stylists Erica Cloud declaring, “All of this is a no” and Erin Noël pleading, “Carolyn is a style icon and her wardrobe deserves the budget to support this, please make sure it’s perfect !”
Moda Operandi founder Lauren Santo Domingo said, “sorry but the wardrobe is wrong.”
Page Six Style also spoke with the late Bessette-Kennedy’s actual hair colorist, Brad Johns, who took umbrage.
“I love Ryan Murphy. I mean, I live for him. But there must be some kind of glitch with the costume people or the hair people, because it’s not right — it’s all white and burnt,” he told us.
Murphy hit back at haters, however, revealing the initial images were “a work in progress” and promised to invite a group of 20 CBK-dedicated fashion bloggers to come see the clothing in the fall as well as a vast advisory committee working with his team.
We can’t wait to see more iconic fashion moments from America’s royal family on the small screen, out on FX on Valentine’s Day 2026.
